 Once again, Cape Fear Wedding asked us to do the Fashion Show

and its Stage Design

for their annual Wedding Show!!!

 This was especially significant as it was the first event for

the new Wilmington Convention Center!

The Design Theme we chose was the 1920s!
Months later we read...
The Knot's pick for the number one Wedding Theme for 2011 -- The 1920s!!!   

 

The color palette was all the colors of a Peacock Feather & Claret Red

 

We surrounded the runway with round tables decorated with lamps that we created and 1920s arrangements of roses, white carnations and babies breath!

Photo shoot at the new Wilmington Convention Center!!!

 We are so proud of our new Wilmington Convention Center!!!

We shot these promo photos in the lobby --

"Not a typical wedding?, not a typical Convention Center! -- 

Wilmington Convention Center.

 Jennifer (Diva #3) was our model and wore a black bobbed wig to convey the 1920s theme of the photo shoot.

Our cake and the event design was created to reflect the 1920s theme with use of red roses, white carnations, baby's breath and peacock feathers!!!

Event design is all about "the sum of the whole" -- beautifully reflecting the theme in every detail of the wedding!!!

As The Three Divas, we design the Wedding Cake, Bridal flowers & Event Design to compliment the Bride's colors, style and theme.

The opening event of the Wilmington Convention Center was the Cape Fear Wedding Show and we designed the cake for the Convention Center booth to reflect their logo, as seen in the poster behind the cake!!!

During the Cape Fear Wedding Show our 5 tier Wedding Cake was displayed in the Grand Ballroom of the Wilmington Convention Center.   We designed it to reflect the event colors and theme and decorated it with sugarpaste orchids.

Some of The Divas' favorite Wedding Cakes!!!

Our Sugarpaste Gardenias adorn a delicious butter cake frosted in our signature Italian Buttercream.  

We have often been told, "Your wedding cake is the best I have ever tasted!"  

Our goal is to design a fabulous wedding cake that uniquely represents each Bride & Groom, 

and for the cake and frosting to taste as good as the cake looks! 

Each gardenia is handcrafted, painted three times, and applied on site at the Bald Head Island Club.

Hand made black royal icing appliques with sugarpaste orchids and calla lilies for a beautiful wedding at Landfall Country Club.

 Wedding cake topper of live flowers to compliment the Bridal flowers.

Our sugarpaste English roses and rosebuds with fondant ribbon displayed at The Balcony on Dock Street.

Sugarpaste lemons and lemon leaves, complimented with live flowers, created for a wedding reception at The Beam Room, downtown Wilmington.

Sugarpaste calla lilies with royal blue fondant ribbon,

and our complimentary Bridal bouquets and arbor floral design, for a sunset wedding at Cape Fear River Deck.

Live hydrangeas with fondant ribbons

Large sugarpaste "fantasy flowers" created for this wedding reception at Blue Water Restaurant overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway.

Black royal icing appliques, for this elegant black & white cake, were created to replicate the wedding invitation design.  The reception was held at The Upper Room in Historic Downtown Wilmington.

"Lego Cake" designed to compliment the topper created by the Groom for his Bride, a school teacher,
that represented the arbor under which they were married on the veranda of the Bald Head Island Club.

Live flowers adorn this beautiful white on white cake created for an outdoor wedding at Airlie Gardens.

Created for a Bride who loves all things purple and with bling!!!

Wedding and reception held at Southport Community Center 

 situated on the edge of the river and surrounded by majestic Live Oaks.

held at North Topsail Beach!

Our Sugarpaste roses have been a favorite with many of our Brides.
This cake was requested for a Bride & Groom whose reception was held at Porter's Neck Country Club.
