Romantic Chic Wedding at Historic St. Thomas Preservation Hall in Downtown Wilmington NC

Our Bride, Sara, wanted a beautiful organic/natural look

incorporating succulents that she also

potted and gave to their guests as favors.

The flowers we chose to create all of these looks were 

purple Lisianthus, blue & purple Delphinium,

Cymbidium Orchids, white Calla Lilies, yellow Freesia

Nigella, Bells of Ireland, Bulpurium, Solidago, 

Dusty Miller, and Hanging Amaranthus.

To compliment our Floral & Event Design,

our Wedding Cake design featured a vine created with royal icing, 

an overlapping design piped with our Italian Buttercream,

and was topped with purple lisianthus, cymbidium orchids & succulents.

A Southern Chic Wedding on an Intracoastal Peninsula in Wilmington NC

The day was gorgeous, 

the setting was gorgeous, 

the Bride was gorgeous! 

Our goal was to create a floral & event design 

befitting this stunning outdoor wedding venue - 

a grassy lawn on a private Intracoastal peninsula 

in Wilmington NC.

Surrounded by moss covered live oaks,

the perfect floral & event design for this rustic chic wedding 

was to decorate the farm tables

with green and white floral designs

accented with moss & lichen covered branches -

a look that would make even Ralph Lauren proud!

Diva #1 & Diva #3 - "It's all in the details!!!"

The flowers and greenery we chose for 

the arrangements and bouquets were white dahlias, white snapdragons, 

white lisianthus, white garden roses, white anemones 

 white astilbe, veronica, dusty miller, plumosa fern, ivy and moss.

Working with this couple and their familes was such a delight!!!

 And the day was made all the more special because 

we were able to have the assistance

We Believe In The Power of a Party!!!

You know the old saying about the cobbler's children having no shoes...

well, we are in the Party Planning business, 

and are convinced there can be some really 

powerful results from having a party, 

so from early on, we decided, unlike ye ole cobbler,
 we needed to plan a few Parties of our own -

Diva Style!!! 

So our "Bachelorette" inspired 

"Will You Accept This Rose?" party was created!!!

To create the environment and set the mood, 

we had to prove we could decorate in the style
 "Cheesy Romantic" 

just as successfully as our SoCal counterparts!!! 

But we changed the dress code from bikinis to

PJs - of the flannel variety.

Honorary Diva # 1, Heather,

ensured that even our wine bottle 

followed dress code!!!

And why dream of diamonds for just one bachelorette!!!

After playing our traditional "Cheesy Party Game,"
(compliments of Diva #2, Rebekah) 

 where each woman wrote down her celebrity crush,
& then everyone guessed which gal chose which celebrity,
EVERY WOMAN GOT A ROSE from the celebrity of her dreams
- at least in her imagination!!! 

(Diva #3, Jennifer, got really excited about that!!!)

Then it was time to reapply lipstick

for the Official Photo Shoot!!!
